Net Power located outside Houston is the world’s first zero emission natural gas power plant.  Although the plant burns natural gas, it captures 100% of the emissions with no additional cost. It works with CarbFix in Iceland to sequester the CO2 waste, but also sells used carbon gas to local oil producers.  

The 10 Billion KWh/yr, Wai Gao Qiao power plant in Shanghai burns coal, however the plant processes ‘would-be’ emissions of  carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxide, sulphur dioxide and particulates, so that they don’t end -up in the atmosphere. It’s not only incredibly clean, but also efficient…
