Denmark’s $34BN Energy Islands Could Solve Europe’s Power Problem

Denmark to meet its commitment to phase-out oil production by 2050 is in the process of designing an artificial island with the capacity to initially generate 3GW of electricity from wind for export with the potential to increase the production to 10GW. A second island is also being designed for an additional 2GW.
