Scotland Bets on Tidal Energy

Scotland has some of the strongest underwater currents in Europe, which the Meygen Project plans to harness with tidal energy turbines. The tides are so predictable that SIMEC Atlantis knows exactly how much energy will be generated every 15 minutes for the next 25 years.
