The AMBRI mega-battery: low cost materials, long lifespan, reliable, non-hazardous and affordable, Donald Sadoway of MIT has created a liquid metal battery (grid-scale) that could power a neighborhood (2MW/500 kilowatts) and last decades with zero capacity-fade. The company launched its first mega.battery in Arazona in 2021.
